Question about Kenmore Washing Machines
You probably have a jammed water pump. The pump won't let the motor turn, so the washer will not spin either.
Vacuum out water.
Pull the two screws holding down the control panel, tilt the panel up and back out of the way.
Lever the metal keepers out with a screwdriver.
Unplug the wiring harness on top of the housing.
Rotate the housing forward and pull out.
Pop two clips holding on pump.
Hold pump over bucket, remove from hoses using pliers on clamps.
Remove debris from pump (needle nose pliers).
Reassemble and test.
