Water goes into and will be pumped from the machine. There is not any water activity in between these two functions.

Yep, same. Brand new, installed correctly, pump sounds like it's running, a little soap foam dribbles from the lower spray arm. No wash. Drains afterwards.

Same for me, if I open and close the door the spray start faster (more pressure) I want to know if I should return it.

Can't really supply a solution, mine has done this since Christmas. Mine seems to be related to the volume of water taken(or indeed not) into the machine. I have resorted to chucking a bowl of water into the bottom at the start (after the initial draining cycle) of the programme and during the rinse. Not exactly automatic & I can't imagine it will do the pump much good flogging it without a sufficient prime, however it works for me. I'll keep an eye to see if a more substantive fix comes along. Best wishes.

Spray arms not working

Hi frustrated in Raleigh,
I understand that the spray arms are not moving or spraying water, even after you have cleaned the screens and arms. What might be happening is you are not getting enough water pressure to the dishwasher.
The hot water line to your dishwasher must provide water pressure between 20 and 120 psi.
Low water pressure may occur when laundry or showers are in operation.
Wait until water use is reduced before starting dishwasher.
If you are still noticing that the spray arms are not moving or spraying water, I would have a local Authorized Technician come out to see what exactly is going on with the spray arms of your dishwasher.

-Best Regards-

My dishwasher sprays water up into the dishes but the little spray arms don't move when the water sprays up. The arms move by hand when I touch them. What could this mean for my dishwasher?

Kenmore dishwasher we use new finish detergent and the little soap pouches do not dissolve.

DOES THE SOAP DISPENSER DOOR OPEN, IF SO THEN EITHER THE WATER FROM SPRAY ARMS NOT REACHING THE DISPENSER, POUCHES IMPERVIOUS TO WATER OR REQUIRE HOT WATER AND WATER IS NOT HOT ENOUGH. CHECK THAT THE SPRAY ARMS ARE NOT CLOGGED WITH DEBRIS. ALSO COULD BE SOME UTENSIL KEEPING THE SPRAY ARMS FROM ROTATING.

Bosch dishwasher - top row of dishes do not get clean

There is a screen that you can remove from the sump of the dishwasher to clean. Just twist it to the left and pull it out. I have some tips that you might want to check out if this does not resolve your problem.

No Spray

Wow, you've done a lot of work. I wouldn't break the seal around the bottom. If water gets in the motor then your in big trouble. You can try to clean the spray arms out. I was just in my kitchen trying to get the dishwasher to work with the door open to see the arms spray water, but I couldn't do it. Just a little experiment I wanted to try. I told my wife I was trying to help solve a problem and you can image what happened from there .... Let me see if I can find a manual.
