Depending on your computer Operating System, you may need to upgrade your media player (Windows). That should include the drivers for the mp3 player.

Hope you have this figure out if not here goes. Sounds as if the camera is caught in a feed back loop. As long as you have down loaded and saved your images on the computer go ahead and format the card. When it says delete everything on the card select OK and click the start button everyone is happy again. By the way all new card and card after doenloading to the computer should be formatted in the camera. Never format in the computer and deleting images one by one is just a great way to totally mess up a memory card's mind. Format, Format

How do I start over with my computer toshiba p35 s611 do I have a restore on this model or do I need to format HD and reload XP? I dont have any restore disks.

if you go to "computer" and there is a partition or hard drive showing as "recovery" then you should be able to take your lappy back to its original state.
if not then you will need to format, depending on how old your system is anyway, a format might do some good.

I have a 512 memory card and it states needs formating but wont actually format. Its just repeating itself saying needs formatting. Its saying it when i put the SD card into my camera and my pc. Can i fix...

# Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com
# 2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
# 3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
# 4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
# 5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
# 6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

I have a problem in my harddisk it show the icon in the taskbar but it is not showing in my computer please help me!

If it is a new harddisk you will need to format it.
go to the start menu and right click on "my computer" and select manage. Then find "disk mangagement" in the left panel. find the new drive and right click on it and choose format it.

After formating, which may take a while, restart the PC and you should have it in veiw.

Format

Hi

two options

  1. The original restore dvd / cd can be used to format and restore the computer to the original state it came on.
  2. Use the windows installation cd, format the hard drive during the setup and then continue with installing windows, at the end you will need the device drivers and those are available at http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/downloads.html

Make sure you dont have Rhapsody, or Windows Media Player open. Go to My Computer>Device Name (e260)>Right Click and select FORMAT. If that doesnt work, change the mode on the device Settings>Mode or USB Mode and repeat. Best of Luck.
