Good day sir/ma'am, hi, the reason why the printed sends the mesaage "cartridge not installed correctly" mean that it cannot get ink from those cartridges due to dirt and dust, or the ink on the cradle dried out, you may need to clean the cradle, the part were it houses the ink cartridges, since dried ink is solluble to water, use warm water to clean the cartridge. you can remove the cradle or use a dipstick with cloth wrap around and dip it to the dried ink. If the dried ink has soften enough you can place again your cartridge and test print again, do this several times to get the ink flow again. Carefull not to moisten the electronics part of your printer. thats it.

How do I fix e07

I assume you have a Canon copier based on the E007 error code. The Fuser fixing film is torn and the Fixing film assembly or the entire fuser should be replaced. Very common issue.......You cannot reset that code without first replacing the part causing the code.

Everytime I change the cyan cartridge I get a message that cartridge is missing or damaged. In the past I've tried everything from the solution center and manual and problem has gone away even though I...

Make sure that the cartridges sit in the correct slots. Match the shape and color of the icon on the cartridge with the slot that has the same shape and color icon.

Press down on any cartridges that you find sticking up. They should snap down into place.

If a cartridge does not snap into place, you might need to readjust the cartridge tab.

Remove the catridge and gently bend the tab away from the cartridge. Be careful not to bend the tab too much

Reinstall the cartridge into its appropriate slot until it snaps into place and seats firmly in the slot.

Check if the issue was resolved

If not, make sure that the carriage latch is closed. The latch is located athe right side of the inks. Its the color blue latch beside the black cartridge.

If its still giving the same error message. Try cleaning the electrical contacts of the cartridges.

IF this did not resolve your issue, process a repair for the printer.

Did you use Canon cartridges or generic ones? Sometimes if you do not use brand specific cartridges the printer will realize this and not print correctly. Also after you changed the cartridges did you calibrate the printer? If not, try calibrating 3 times and see if this corrects the problem. If not, it could be the cartridges...

Changed ink cartridge now it won't work

Try removing the black and see if the error is still there. If it goes away the black is bad, if it stays you got a defective new color cartridge.

The printer doesn't recognize the new original HP color cartridge

There is a small spring that holds the ink cartridge in the ink holder. You will see it stick out from the right hand side of the ink holder where the ink cartridge slides in. If that spring isn't being held to the ink holder by two plastic tabs, (I.E. the plastic tabs are broken) the printer will never recognize the cartridge. If the printer is still under warranty I would contact HP or an authorized repair center for HP. Both the black and color ink holder has this spring. I know of no way to repair this kind of breakage.

Wrong cartridge?

Doubled check the cartridge numbers and that they match what is on the printer. If no match get correct ones.
