Brake issues I tried to play Need for Speed Underground 2 with my wheel, but in the game the brakes would only release when I pushed the pedal down. Vista says that it is recognizing the brake pedal as a Z axis that seems to be reversed (pushing down deactivates control). I recently upgrade from XP to Vista and never had a problem untill now.

Emergency brake stuck to the floor

if your mechanical minded you can release it with a flat blade screw driver but it will be tight ,you need to release the tention by pushing hard on the pedal ( or use 2 people) and you will see how the ratchet locks the pedal pry up on it while you slowly lift the pedal up .

How do I take apart Madcatz mc2 pedal set

I started having trouble with my brakes and throttle either not operating or operating sporadically (MC2 pedal set). I tried slightly jiggling the cord near the connection on the steering wheel base and found I could get the pedal set operating again. To keep the pedal set operating while I play (drive), I drape the pedal set cord over the steering wheel set gear shift. Amazingly, that one difference keeps the pedal set operating consistently. By the way, I had ordered another pedal set in the box on E-Bay when I found this draping technique worked. The E-Bay set is still in the box in my closet as a back-up. Don't need it ... yet. This is what I have been doing since the issue occurred about two years ago. Hope this resolves your issues.

Front wheel bearings were installed too tight, the wheel has zero play and the brake caliper will not release properly

When you say "the wheel bearings are too tight, & there is no play". Is this on the rotor, or axle hub? When you depress your brake pedal, a number of things are in play. The twin pistons, within the Brake master cylinder is pushing hydralic Brake fluid to your caliper, under extreme pressure. When your foot is removed from the pedal, all there is to get that caliper to release, is a clean, wrking piston in the caliper, & THE MOST Mis-Diagnosed problem I have noticed on all makes, brands & models, ever since the inception of disc brakes...........is those "flexible, high pressure brake hoses. As fluid is pushed thru at extreme pressure, & only returning spring, non piston pressure, a "deteriorated hose", will actually work as a one way "check" valve. It will set the caliper, but, not release it. The gop bad at about 75,000 miles & up, depending on conditons the vehicle is used in.

How do I bleed the brakes on a 98 buick century

start at the closest wheel to the brake master cylinder, you will need someone to pump the brake pedal to build up pressure then hold it down while you release the bleed nipple on the wheel brake cylinder then push the pedal to the floor to release the air & keep it down until you tighten the bleed screw then release the pedal & repeat the process on each wheel from front to back making shore that all the air is out of the lines DO NOT let the brake master run out of brake fluid ( keep topping it up)......hope this helps.....cheers.

No brakes after master cyclinder and booster replacment

To bleed the brake system open all the bleeders and let the system gravity bleed for @ 1/2 hour ensuring the master stays full. Then close all bleeders and starting furthest from the master (r/r) have someone pump the brakes 2-3 times, hold the pedal down, then open the bleeder, close the bleeder, and repeat untill there are no air bubbles and the brake fluid is running clear .Repeat for all wheels in this order R/R L/R R/F L/F ensuring master cykinder does not run empty. You cannot pump the pedal with a bleeder open you will be sucking air back into the system. Once you finish all wheels repeat to ensure there is no air remaining in system.
