Question about AT&T Computers & Internet
I bought a Westell VersaLink 327W router thru the internet but I didn't know it was a Verizon product. I have ATT DSL internet service. I accidentally broke the antena to my existing ATT VersaLink 327W router. Can the Verizon router be configured to work with ATT service? If yes, how do I configure it - step by step. Thanks.
I bought one of these wireless routers a while back and found that these can work well with At&t simply by logging into the router (192.168.1.1), creating an account with your At&t user ID and password, and enabling PPPoE with the VCI set to 8 and the VPI set to 35. Worked well for me for about two years now. Hope this helps

Just connect the cables, and "test" it -- either it works, or it does not.
If you still need help, telephone your Internet Service Provider (AT&T), and ask them for assistance, on a "best efforts" basis.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
