This sounds like a problem with the screen only. best idea is to go on sony.com.au and get info on sending it to them where they will fix it proffessionally, and give it a service. best bet. please rate

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

No display problem

You might have the broken LCD.. If you not sure, try to boot under recovery menu - (if you have custom firmware installed). if the problem come from corrupted firmware you should see the menu of recovery.. then goto menu "Advance" > "Format flash1 and reset setting". otherwise you may consider sending it back to Sony for repair. You can call SONY support at 1-800-345-7669.

hopefully this help.! Pls post back should you need additional information, and also Show your Appreciation, to help other USER. http://e-arena.blogspot.com.

My psp was working fine today and then randomly the screen disolved into black but there was sound and i could still play i just couldnt see anything

Your PSP may have a loose connection from the screen to the actual board of the PSP. You can send your PSP to Sony Tech Support. More info at esupport.sony.com

Psp slim problem

I heard the psp slim is pandora-proof. you might need to exchange that for the original psp. and i have an original psp. i get that error code 80410A0B thing or w/e. your not  going to able to fix the problem. you should just sell your psp and buy a refurbished one.

PSP SCREEN PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

Hi Trollsheva,

Your LCD screen has a lost connection internally. I have seen this a few time over the last few months. You will need to get a new LCD screen for your PSP installed. I recommend even if your technically endowed, that you get an experienced person to do this. The PSP is very tricky and delicate. Click on "repair Directory" at the bottom of this screen, then Select "Video Game Consoles" Pick a Repair shop that has replaced PSP LCD screens before.

PSP screen problem

It is most likely a screen problem, perhaps the screen is disconnected. I would suggest having it serviced, or perhaps you can try to disassemble it and check the cable is fully plugged in.

Psp 3.52m33-4 hang....

if you were upgrading at the time it seems like you may have corrupted the firmware, This is known as Bricking your PSP (as it becomes about as useful as a brick). The only way I know of unbricking is to get hold of a pandora's battery (Battery service mode init and Firmware loaded onto a memstick) see http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthr... hope this helps
