There are 4 glides on the top of the dryer which are set in the white plastic bearing. You may have needed all 4 not just 2 and/or you may also have needed the bearing if the glides were not replaced right away and they wore through the plastic.

Dryer drum off center

More likely something is wrong with one or more "drum holders".
Dryers are "suspended" by some of several methods.
Some have a shaft screwed to the middle of the back of the drum, you should see 3 screws in a triangle, likely phillips screws and likely stainless steel screws, right near the center of the drum in the rear. If the screws fell out, ( they do) you may have a bad wobble. Fixing should require complete dismantling of the machine.
Some have plastic/rubber wheels they ride on. The wheels can fail, causing this same symptoms.
Some have plastic glides/slides that can wear out, causing this symptom.
If you will take it completely apart, you should see what went wrong. Be blessed.

Drive Motor

The dryer drive motor turns the drum and the blower wheel to exhaust the air. If the dryer stops the motor might be defective. If the dryer stops and the dryer motor makes a humming noise there might be something caught in the blower wheel, or the drum might be binding. Try removing the belt from the motor and checking the blower wheel for obstructions. Also try rotating the drum by hand with the belt off, it should rotate freely. If the drum doesn't turn freely, determine what is causing it to bind. The dryer motor can't be tested easily. If the drum turns freely and the blower wheel is clear, and yet the dryer still keeps stopping mid-cycle the motor may be defective. it will need to be replaced. It is not serviceable.

Drum Roller Axle

This dryer has drum support rollers. There will always be two supporting the rear of the drum, and on some models there may be two supporting the front of the drum. The rollers must spin freely to work properly. If the roller axles are worn out the rollers may not spin freely which can overload the motor and the dryer stops. If the dryer stops mid-cycle, remove the belt and spin the drum, it should spin freely. If not, check the rollers and roller shafts.

Drum Roller

This dryer has drum support rollers. There will always be two supporting the rear of the drum, and on some models there may be two supporting the front of the drum. The rollers must spin freely to work properly. If they are worn out or start binding the motor can get overloaded and the dryer stops. If the dryer stops mid-cycle, check to be sure the drum turns freely with the belt removed. If not, check the rollers. Do not lubricate the rollers or roller shaft, lubrication will attract lint and cause the roller bearings to wear out faster. If the rollers don't turn freely, replace them. The roller shaft can often be reused, unless it has worn down. Clean the shaft thoroughly before installing the new rollers.

Drum Slide, Glide, or Pad

The front of the dryer drum is supported by small pieces of plastic-like material. As the drum rotates, it slides on these plastic pieces. If the dryer stops mid-cycle, it may be that one or more of these plastic slides or glides has worn out. When they wear out the drum can start binding and put strain on the motor. The motor then shuts down and the dryer stops. Check the glides for wear and replace as needed.

Drum Bearing

The drum bearing supports the rear of the dryer drum. Over time this bearing will wear out and may cause several different problems. If the dryer stops during the cycle it may be that this drum bearing has worn out and is putting too much strain on the motor. If the belt is removed and the drum spins freely, the drum bearing is probably not worn out. If the drum bearing is worn out, there may be some grinding or squealing, and the drum will be hard to turn.

Dryness Control Board

The dryness control board shuts off the dryer when the clothes have reached the level of dryness selected by the user. If the dryer stops too early, the dryness control board might be defective. This is not very common and other possibilities should be checked first.

GE Dryer DBVH512EF0WW vibrates/shudders excessively. Particularly with the top on. I've replaced the front top bearing, drum slides and felt seal. What is my problem?

The only thing I can think of is if you have plastic inserts built into the drum then maybe you installed the wrong kit in the dryer.
Their are basically 2 styles of GE dryers. Those that have a steel drum and a bearing with glides on the front panel and those that have felt on the front panel and the plastic glides mounted in the drum itself.

Dryer does not dry all the time sometimes it dry fast other time you have to reset 2-3 times

You can put this machine into the field service mode to view the errors here is how to do that.
  • Turn the dryer on.
  • Go to the home screen.
  • Press help.
  • Press and hold my cycles and back simultaneously for 3 seconds.
Once done you can view the errors, post what it says. Note that once you exit this mode it will erase the errors so write them down.

Inteli dry regular cycle, timer gets stuck and won't advance. other cycles work fine. thanks

An unusual noise coming from a running clothes dryer can cause concern, although these noises are rarely indicative of a more serious problem. Once the source of the noise has been located, a few simple repairs or adjustments will usually solve the problem and restore peace to your laundry room.

    Gas
  1. A gas dryer may emit an occasional clicking sound. This noise is caused by the gas valve and is a normal operating sound. The clicking sound coming from the gas valve can not be eliminated and it does not indicate any mechanical problem with the dryer.
  2. Warm Up
  3. A newly installed dryer, or a dryer that has been left unused for a period of time, may exhibit a thumping noise during the first few minutes of the drying cycle. According to the Maytag company, this noise is normal and should not be a cause for concern. If the noise continues for more than a few minutes or repeats on subsequent loads, however, then steps should be taken to locate the origin of the noise.
  4. Clothing
  5. Clothing can become knotted and balled up in the clothes dryer. This can cause vibration or a load thumping noise. When this happens, open the dryer and remove the knotted clothing. Separate the articles of clothing and place them back in the dryer. The thumping noise should not continue unless the clothing has become knotted again.
  6. Vibration
  7. Place your hands on top of the dryer and push down firmly; if the dryer tilts to one side, the clothes dryer is not level. This can cause the dryer to vibrate during the cycle and if the vibration is severe enough, the surrounding walls could be damaged by the dryer. Maytag dryers have four leveling legs installed into holes on the bottom of the dryer. These legs are included with the dryer and should have been screwed into the holes during installation. A wrench can be used to adjust the legs until the dryer is stable and level.
  8. Foreign Objects
  9. Small objects such as coins, buttons, or paperclips can become lodged between the drum and the sides of the clothes dryer. These items usually end up in the dryer after being left in clothing pockets during laundering. Turn the dryer off and remove any clothes to a laundry basket. Allow the dryer to cool down so that you won't burn your hand on any metal surfaces inside the dryer which may be hot. Look inside the dryer and pay special attention to the front and rear edges of the dryer drum. Run your fingers along the grooves where the drum connects to the dryer to locate any foreign objects. These objects could be bouncing around the dryer causing noise during the cycle, and then settling into the grooves when the dryer stops making them difficult to locate. Remember to remove all items from clothing pockets before laundering in the future to avoid this problem.
  10. please comment on these solution on how helpful

The dryer completed it's cycle and the next day went to fluff the load and will not start on any cycle. The display is lit with run time showing but nothing else.

Clean out the condenser....and the drum filter. Ifm this does not fix it there is a resetable thermostat on the heater bank at the back behind the cover plate.

My kenmore elite he4 dryer-model#110.95087401 keep beeping and the end of cycle lights are going on from off to high and back to off right through the drying cycle.

I had the same problem and eventually none of the cycle buttons light up or the cycle time display. So it would not run at all. After taking it apart once and fiddling with the cycle push buttons, it worked for one load then would not work again. I could see 3 of the led faintly illuminated and unplugging and plugging back in the power changed nothing. Then I removed the plastic ring of cycle buttons that is between the panel circuit board and the outer plastic. (There a several layers to get to the ring.) Now I use a long allen wrench to push on the switch on the circuit board. I left the middle start button in place. That does not seem to cause a problem. Several loads now and still working. So it looks like the ring on plastic buttons don't release from the circuit board buttons causing a problem.

Look all around the inner tub with a torch , if you spot the wire sticking through grasp it firmly with pliers and pull out , dont let it go , if it slips completely between drums it is more difficult to get to.

Excessive vibration during spin cycle

Chck to see that all (6) suspension springs are still attached. Check the plastic snubber ring below the mechanism and above the base plate for cracks or contamination.
