Re: Tape stuck in Sanyo VCR !

Unplug the VCR, take the cover off, find the motor (probably on the right side of the mechanism) and turn its shaft with your fingers until you have run the tape back out. Now plug it back in and try it again with a scarificial tape. If it continues to fail, replace all the rubber belts in the mechanism.
Hope ya fix it!

SOURCE: VCR tape is stuck - will not rewind or eject.

There schould be a release buuton on the rear of the machine. It's usually recessed and may be difficult to see. Press this with the yip if a ballpoint pen and extract the tape. If the tape is wrapped around the record/playback heads your only option is to remove the top cover and manually remove the tape. Sounds difficult but if you take your time it's not too bad a job.

A video tape got stuck inside of the VCR then.

Well there is a tiny button on the back of the VCR you can bearly see it but its there.
So you will have to take a small flatend screw driver like for eye glasses and see if it can press that button to see if the tape will now eject out. If not it will have to be repaired then.

My sanyo 670 vcr player tape does not play, rewind or forward. It does just create some ratting sound and stops.

This sound like you have a tape stuck in the VCR. you should goto a Video engineer to get it taken out. And then check it out to see what is going wrong.
hope this helps

Why won't older Sanyo VCR playback VHS tape on new HD-LCD TV?

The problem is not with your TV. I have had this problem as well and the older the VCR gets the harder it is for it to turn the tape. Does your VCR react the same way with other tapes? Try Fastforwarding the tape about halfway and then test it again.

Sanyo vcr player vwm 900, tape won't COME OUT.

This needs a little bit of care but essentially you will need to unplug the power from the VCR then do the following:

Remove the top cover
Then with the front of the VCR facing you look to see if any of the tape is wound around a large metallic silver drum, that is tilted upward and is not flat, at the rear of the tape casing. If so then it means that it has wound around the drum and you will need to retrieve the tape to allow the eject mechanism to work. Do not touch the shiny polished part of the drum. To get the tape in usually means that you have to locate a plastic or metal cog wheel, usually on the right side of the VCR that you can turn with your finger. This makes the VCR motor move. Also there is one that works the tape eject mechanism. If you can find the one to wind in the tape before working on the one for the tape eject than you stand a chance of rescuing the tape, if not then it will get some damage. Don’t worry about turning the cog wheels with your finger as you can do very little harm to the VCR with no tools involved and no power on. Moving the cogs this way will only cause very small movements with the tape motor and eject so you will need to be a little patient and you will soon see what is happening. Once remove run a cleaning tape through the VCR before you use it again. With the limited space available her it is difficult to give you much more info.

Sanyo vcr VHR-9433

Your end of tape sensor is not working. Notice the beginning and end of each tape is clear? That is to allow IR (infared light) which you cannot see with out special stuff, into the area near the left and right of the cassette. Usually they look like a tiny light bulb wit a left and right side. Radio SHack carrys IR detectors cheap.

VHS Tape on Sanyo Doesn't play on other VCR's

the heads on the sanyo vcr may slightly be out of alignment from years of use.when playing a recorded tape from this vcr to another, the other vcr's alignment maybe right on track thus causing the poor can possibly try cleaning the heads with a head cleaner or a high grade blank tape, but i don't think this will solve the problem. but you can try.
good luck
p.s also try higher quality tapes to record on.

Cassette stuck in video

I am a sanyo VCR technician and i will share to you what i had encountered. the problem of your VCR is in the mechanism "slide front" unable to push out the ejector portion of the tape. If you can locate this part just push it so that the tape will eject.
