Acer welcom window frozen in centre of screen.

Started up new laptop. followed all of the initalization windows and when everthing was loaded a "Welcom to Acer" window came up on the screen with no way of closing it down.
The message said, Welcome to Acer. For further information go to

Perform a system recovery:
2 ways:
1. If in Windows - Start - Programs - Acer empowering technology - Acer E-recovery management -
click on Restore at bottom then "Restore to factory default settings"
2. Alt/F10 during boot right after Acer splash screeen on startup
