To find new friends, I'm trying to upload my csv file from Outlook and Gmail, but Facebook keeps telling me:
Everyone on this contact list is already on Facebook or has already been invited. This isn't possible because I have never uploaded this list. It happens with every list I try.
Recently google disable this feature for face book,so now go to OTHER TOOLS at face book, you will find a link to upload your csv file directly and you can check who is on face book, add them to your friends,DONE.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

That probably depends upon the 3rd party. You MIGHT try exporting your contacts list (as a .csv, or Comma Separated Values, file). You can then open that file with Excel or OpenOffice Spreadsheet and change it around however you like. Your 3rd party software may be able to import the .csv file, or you may be able to reimport it into gMail and have it automatically rearrange your contacts.
This method allows you to backup the Name, contact details and Email of all your Facebook friends in a CSV file so that you do not lose them in case of account deletion or otherwise. Go to address.yahoo.com and click the Facebook icon. A login dialog should pop-up, just sign-in with your Facebook credentials and within seconds, you entire Facebook address book will be available inside your Yahoo Mail Account. Once the import is done, go to http://address.yahoo.com/?_src=&VPC=tools_export to download a CSV file with the email addresses of all your Facebook contacts to your desktop.
You can then import the CSV file into Gmail Contacts, LinkedIn, your phone address book or any of the social sites where you want to connect with your existing Facebook circle.
NOTE: If Yahoo! is unable to import your Facebook Address book, open your Facebook page and choose “Application Settings” under Account. Next remove the “Yahoo! Contact Importer” application from your Facebook profile and try the steps mentioned in the video again. Also, if Yahoo is added as one of your linked accounts in Facebook, this method would not work.
There are quite a few other methods that do almost the same work. But none of them will get you a list of all email addresses. The reason is that Facebook doesn't let applications have access to your email address (Unless explicitly authorized by the user). However, this method would allow you to backup it all, Name, phone nos., emails, etc. into an easily manageable CSV file which you later use to invite friends in other websites.
Enter your Yahoo email address in the box and click on Help Me Switch. click on the switching from any email address link to see general directions for switching to Gmail from any email account.

Announce your new Gmail address to your friends.
Set up signature settings, automatic replies or customizable reply-to addresses, so that friends who send email to your old Yahoo address will know about your new Gmail address.
Add your Yahoo account to your Gmail account and manage all of your emails in one place. The Switching to Gmail tutorial walks you through the necessary steps to accomplish this.
This Android OS acore error seems to lie within contacts synchronization going wrong. Because of that we need to clear all contacts (and restore them). This is how to do it:
Step 1 - clearing all contacts information 1.First of all, make a backup of all your contacts. You can do this easily by downloading ExportContacts from Market, fire up the app and export contacts to a csv file on your phone memory card. To be sure, copy the csv file to your hard drive too. 2.Then go to Menu -> Settings -> Data synchronization and turn of all synchronization. 3.Go to Settings -> Applications and tap Manage Applications. The list of applications will now take a while to load. When it's finished, find Contacts Storage, tap Clear data and tap Clear cache. Note: all your contacts information will now be wiped out - but you're safe - you've already exported the contacts. 4.Turn on synchronization again (Menu -> Settings -> Data synchronization). Step 2 - restore contacts information Now we just need to restore the contacts information, which is saved in the csv file we created before. We will do this by importing the csv file to Gmail and let Gmail synchronize with the Android phone.
Note: You can import csv files to almost any email program or service, preferably Outlook or Gmail.
1.Login to your Gmail account -> Go to Contacts -> Click Import (top right corner). 2.Click Choose File -> Choose your csv file -> Click Import. 3.Done! Now it might take a short while (a minute or so) for the phone to synchronize your Gmail contacts. When the synchronization is finished you've got your contacts in Gmail and in the phone.
Shut for tablet down for 30 seconds. Boot it back up.
Exporting Hotmail ContactsThe first step is to get the information you need out of Hotmail, you can achieve this by doing the following:-
Select Contacts from the Hotmail navigation bar.
Click On Print View.
Highlight the entire contents of the table (including the heading names e.g. Name, E-Mail and Phone as well as all your contacts).
Press Ctrl+C to copy the table.
Create a new spreadsheet document in Excel.
Select Edit and then Paste from the main menu.
Sort the data by the E-Mail column.
For any rows with a blank E-Mail column copy any e-mail address from the Name column to theE-Mail column.
Read this guide from Google on the format of CSV contact files and make any adjustments as may be necaserry.
Select File and then Save As... from the menu.
Make sure you select a format involving "CSV" for saving the file. (GMail can import csv files)
You should now have a csv file containing all your Hotmail contacts ready for importing into GMail.
Importing Your Hotmail Contacts Into GMailImporting your new contacts file into GMail is really straight forward:-
Select Contacts from the GMail left hand menu.
Select Import from the 3 options at the top right of your list of contacts.
Click Browse to locate your csv file containing your Hotmail contacts.
Try to export your address book from Outlook again and make sure you save it to your desktop. then Use gmail to import .csv file from desktop when you click on browse so that you can easily find the file.
What email program are you using? That will determine where your contacts are stored, and that will determine your options.
If you are using ComCast's Web-based email system (in your Web browser), you'll either need to import them into a local program like Outlook or Outlook Express, or you'll have to talk to ComCast about exporting them to a .csv file. If you can display a list of them in tabular format on the screen, you may be able to copy-and-paste it into an Excel spreadsheet and then save that as a .csv file. If you're already using Outlook or Outlook Express, you should be able to just create the new Verizon mailbox and retain your existing contacts. If you can get them as a .csv file, you can either import that into Outlook or Outlook Express, or you can talk to Verizon about importing it into their Web-based email system.
