Can't get the Dell Photo 924 to scan. What is the problem?

I would recommend trying to update to the latest drivers. You can go to manufacture's website and download the latest drivers, then double-click to install them. Then restart pc and try again. You can always try to download the software again or try to update it.

I have a Dell All-In-One PictBridge Photo 924. I


Open Dell All-in-one center, keep the picture on the Scanner bed and click on scan and choose a location to save the picture once the scan is completed and the preview is visible. Alternatively, a simpler way to do this is to Open MSPaint, click on File and click on Import from Camera or Scanner. Choose the kind of picture you want to scan and confirm scan. Try experimenting with options to experience scanning effects and image quality.

Reinstall the printer using the instructions located at....

924 Photo All-In-One Printer owners thread (W7)

The Dell All-In-One Center and the OCR Program are needed to scan. If you lost your printer disk, Simple OCRshould work nicely with this printer.

Printer is printing fine but will not scan


go to page 59 of the manual ("http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/924/en/om_en/om_en.pdf" if you don't have it) look for code 2100 at the bottom of the page. good luck!

Scanner problem


I have a Dell Photo A10 924 Printer. If you click on the Printer Icon and select Microsoft Sanner and Camera Wizard it should scan in OK>

Please Reinstall once again. By replacing the existing Drivers. And also scan your computer for viruses and spy wares.
