Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
You need a drum cleaning blade. This blade cleans the drum between copies.
You can verify this by opening the "clamshell" or lifting the top half of the machine like you do when removing a paper jam. Then look under the top half of the machine on the inside. You should see a reddish or greenish colored cylinder called the drum. It is about in the middle from right to left. If you see the same black bands on the surface of the drum as you do on your copy then the drum cleaning blade is bad.
This cylinder should normally be clean.
