Go to My Computer, then at the top, go to Tools -> Folder Options

In there select the Double click option in the first tab.

Double click on mouse not workin


Does single click work? if so, the problem is the amount of time between the first click and second click, if the delay is too long, the computer will only register it as 2 single clicks.

Go to start, control panel and look for the mouse. Double click on the mouse and a window with several tabs will open to change the settings on the mouse, including single and double click,

I am having trouble with my computer mouse. It is not clicking properly to highlight or will double click when I've only single clicked. Any solutions?


Check mouse settings in control panel. There is some options for double click speed and many other options check once . If double click speed is high then system behaves like this. try to change

Left click double-clicks. how can i get it to single-click?


Go to control panel, select Mouse, double click on that icon, choose from top Buttons, change the setting there or you can restore it to default.

Mouse sometimes double clicks so that it opens 2 things at a time, what is causing that. It also seems to be sticking I have to press it a couple of times to get it to click


You need to go into the control panel and choose the mouse icon.
From there you can set the double-click speed. They give you a little box to click to calibrate the click speed.

click on to start and then go to control pannel and in control pannel check for mouse ,,,click on to it and try to open the page ,,,,,,,and then under the properties u will get the option for click cycle .....check the setting and make the desire setting change their and the things would start working
