I would try changing the glow plug first. Could possibly have an air leak in a fuel line or fuel tank. You can help the motor prime the carb by blocking the exhaust stinger with you finger for a couple of seconds. Don't do it too long or you will flood the engine. Hope this helps.

If there is spark at the plugs when this happens it points to a fuel problem , most likely fuel filter.

Car wont stsrt

will the engine crank when you turn the key, and will not start or does nothing happen when key is turned on. If nothing happens when you turn the key, you may have an dead battery. if it will crank and not start, may not be getting fuel or the engine isnt fireing. Check fuel first, then check to see if it the spark plugs are getting fire.

My 1994 nisssan maxima does not start what could it be it makes noise to stsrt but it doesn't?

Many issues can cause that: bad fuel pump, bad coils, broken spark plug wires, several sensors like MAF, you should check one by one to discard.

Wont stsrt

sounds very much like the coolant temp sensor
, this tells the pcm that the engine is cold, sometimes they fail and tell the pcm the car is at -40 degrees, the pcm then tries to compensate by keeping the injectors open for too long flooding the engine. the part is inexpensive, and normally easy to replace. It can be checked with a scan tool, or a volt/ohms tester,
