How to restore reslution

Right click on a blank area on the desktop and go into the display properties to change the screen resolution.

You can also click Start/Control Panel or Start/Settings/Control Panel and look for Desktop or Appearance and Personalization. Open it and look for Screen Resolution. It will be on one of the tabs on the display properties.

If you have windows 7 just click Start then type: Screen Resolution in the search box and look up at the returned search results and click Screen Resolution.

I've clicked on Abode settings on my screen which I don't want how do I undo this please

What settings changed on your screen? The icons got bigger or smaller? If so Click Start/Control Panel and look for Display or Appearance and Personalization. Open the display and click the Settings Tab to change the Resolution. The higher the resolution, the smaller the icons. The lower the resolution, the larger the icons.

If that is not what you are looking for you can always run System Restore to go to a Restore Point (date and Time) before you made the Adobe change. System Restore does not delete your data.
In Windows XP and Vista click Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore and select a restore point that was before you started having problems. There should be an option to see more restore points than the one that is shown.

In Windows 7 Click Start then in the search box type System Restore.

Again, System Restore does not delete your data, documents, music, pictures, videos or programs (unless the program was installed after the restore point you selected).

System Recovery on the other hand deletes everything and sets your system back to when you first purchased it.

PC Windows XP 2009 and my Resolution cant go back to original setting i have tryed reseting the whole computer and nothing. any suggestions?

Screen resolutions are a part of the display. Click Start/Control Panel/Display When the display window opens click the Settings tab. Look down near the center of the window and you will see the resolutions bar that you can slide our use you mouse pointer to make it change.

If it fails to change and you know when you started having this problem try clicking Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore. When System Restore comes up try restoring to a date and time before you started having this issue. Don't worry, System Restore does not delete any data, documents, music, pictures or videos. On the other hand System Recovery deletes everything and sets your system back to like it was when you first purchased it.

In order to restore your resolution to one that can be displayed by your monitor, you need to restart the computer and enter Safe Mode. To do that, press the F8 key right before the Windows logo shows up during boot (just keep pressing it until you get it).
It should show a menu, from where you must choose to boot in "Safe Mode".
After Windows loads up in Safe Mode, just open the screen resolution settings (right click on the desktop, select Properties) and select 800x600. Click on OK.
Now restart the computer normally and let it boot into Windows. You should be able to see and change the resolution (using the same method mentioned above) to any desired.
Hope that helps!

When i try to watch internet on my tv using s video i get no picture.

What is the size of your T.V.?

Having the ability to plug in your laptop to T.V. doesn't mean your free to watch hassle free. First you have to consider the resolution that will be the number of pixels your T.V. set can produce. a regular T.V. only has 320x240 resolution your average computer and laptop can only go as low as 640x480. That resolution is still very for an ordinary T.V. to produce a picture. You need a T.V. set that is at least 21" or more in size. If you want more picture quality then you need a T.V. that has 1080p resolution.

My computer screen shrank and I don't know how to restore it to original size. Please help me.

right click the screen and if using xp go to properties then display and change the resolution back to how you had it, possibly 800 x 600. If using vista right click and go to personalize then display and change the resolution from there.

Hopefully this will help

Screen won`t display games.

  1. Re install Direct X new version on your laptop
  2. reduce or lower down the resolution settings of your screen. On desktop right click select properties and under the settings tab reduce your resolution to a lower setting like 600*800 and click on Ok an OK again and retry playing your game
  3. If it fails try restoring your computer to a previous date when you were still able to play the games. Start > all programs > accessories > systems tools > systems restore and click on the new window restore to and selct aday you remember you played the game well and resore to it.
