I HAVE A 2002 DODGE CARAVN 3.3L COMES UP WITH MULTIPLE CODES LEAN, WILL START IN THE AM, AFTER DRIVING AND SHUTING OFF IT IS HARD TO RESTART, ONCE IT'S STARTED THER IS POPING NOISES GOING THROUGH THE INTAKE, WHEN THE VEHICLE IS FULL IT'S NOT AS BAD AS WHEN THERE IS A 1/4 TANK OF GAS.

it sounds like low fuel pressure. Change fuel filter first then fuel pump if that fails. Misfire could be a coil pack and may not be related.

This many codes sounds like a wiring issue. You need to inspect all the wiring. If you have rabbits in your area, they eat wires. If not then it is likely to be a corroded or loose ground. You need to get a wiring diagram etc.

I doubt it.
Codes 171 and 174 are for lean fuel mixtures, 300 is for random missfires which could be fuel or ignition related, and 1401 is for a problem with the EGR valve system. Now the EGR could cause the other codes if the valve is open or leaking when it should be closed.
The EGR valve and sensor would need to be tested first.

Contact a Mitsubishi dealer for advise , could need a new ecu , hard to say without seeing vehicle

You can check codes on these without a scan tool ! surprised your mechanic doesn't know this ! Put the key in the ingition , turn it on then off , then on , then off then on again an leave it on . Then look at where the odometer is , will show P codes .

Most likely a o2 sensor ,lean,or rich,a code reader will have to be put on the obd2 connector to read the codes to tell what the code is,if it is a lean indication ,o2 sensor,try replacing the fuel filter.

Remove the serpentine belt by using a breakover bar, rachet or serpentine belt removal tool with the correct size socket for the pulley mounting bolt. Rotate tensioner arm to release tension. Remove the belt.

You need to get it scanned to see what those codes are. Autozone, Pep Boys and other big autoparts stores will usually scan for free. If codes don't tell you what is obviously wrong, get back to us with them & we'll help you out.

The check valve on the fuel line at the filter housing may be leaking back not maintaining pressure when the engine is not running.
