You need to swap the red and yellow round so it dont loose its memory everytime you turn the key off, JVC normally have a fuse that can change position if you want the power on all the time. Check the handbook.

How to wire in a jvc kd-r530 receiver wiring harness into a 99 chevy camero

This is the wiring diagram for it, I would suggest you buy a factory plug, it eliminates all the wiring and trying to figure out which wires go where. Go to a local stereo store and ask for a plug for your model numbered stereo, corresponding with the make, model and year of your vehicle. Their usually around $30

Is a dual XLR adapter available for the MV-P612U JVC stereo mic.

The MV-P162U is a stereo mic designed to plug into a JVC professional camcorder. dates from the 1990's and was very expensive. If the 6 pin plug has not been cut off, and you can get a socket to fit, then going clockwise around pins (or wiring side of socket) from the locator.

suggest a small breakout box. tested it with a 9v battery - the drain is 14ma. could run from 12v via a 285 ohm (approx) resistor with a 47uf cap across the mic supply.

I am trying to fit an after market stereo to my 1996 fiesta courier van and I cant find a wiring diagram

I just replaced the factory stereo in my vehicle yesterday, and found at the local parts store a mounting kit, and a wire harness kit, which made it a 45 minute install, and it looks professional. I spent less than $30 dollars on both pieces, and everything was explained in detail, and no wires were cut, keeping the factory harness intact!

Could be an anti theft feature - should be in the manual along with reset instructions. Some of these aftermarket stereos have the switched and permanent 12V feeds swapped compared to the vehicle wiring, which can cause similar problems. Worth checking the feed voltages are correctly connected.

You need to swap the ignition live and permanent live around. If you have a vauxhall the car stereo wiring is the opposite way round to everyone else! Some Rovers have it aswell.

Can't really help without seeing the item - but I know it is very difficult to fit a 'different' radio to cars nowadays as they are all 'cutom-built' just to fit their vehicle.
What do you mean ' the wiring is too large at rear of unit ' ?#
Is this the radio itself you mean - what wiring is at the rear of the JVC KD G431?
