Question about GE Refrigerators
Lots of motors.
Evaporator fan motor in freezer compartment.
Condenser fan motor in the bottom rear of the machine next to the compressor.
Lastly, the compressor itself.
The first 2 can be replaced easily.
The compressor no. If you've determined it's the compressor, then unless the machine is under 5 years of age and under warranty, then it is unlikely it would be cost effective.
Some GE machines, from some time ago, made very weird sounds when running, but on contacting GE, they claimed that was the sounds a refrigerator makes when making cold.
I didn't agree but .........
