It should be under warranty if it is less than a year old and purchased from a reputable dealer selling USA product. Send it back. If something was spilled on it then that would be why the button sticks and there would be no warranty for that, unless you purchased a service contract that cover liquid damage.

Power wont turn on

Hi,
If the camera will not power up then please check the following:
1. That the batteries are inserted correctly. Two should be facing upwards and two downwards. With the camera facing you (upside down) then the first battery on the left should have the positive terminal up, the second down, third up and last one down. If this does not work then ensure the slider switch to close the battery cover is fully closed - sometimes this sticks - as this closes a microswitch. If the camera still does not work then a fuse will have blown in the camera. This would be a very expensive repair. Hope this helps

My won't recognize my Sandisk memory stick

may be ur computer is not able to read the stick, try it on another PC, some times the memory stick has some power left in it when removing from the camera and the same has to be discharged, to do this refit the stick to you camera and access the stick, then shut down the camera by power off button of the camera and then remove the stick from the camera and connect it to the PC.

Describe hi, i have a canon powershot a520 that was left in someone's purse when she gave it back to me the lens is now sticking half way out and when i push the power button it blinks on for a split...

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ...

Here's some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for less than 50% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try.

Canon A75 stuck between ON & OFF after uploading photos

My Canon A75 has the EXACT same problem. I have always handled it with care. When I was taking photos with it, the camera suddenly started shutting down without a low battery warning. It just started shutting down, but it stopped with the lens still sticking half way out. Like yours, the top green light flashes when I try pressing the power button. Any ideas?
