Question about Dell Dimension 9150 (DIM915MIN) PC Desktop
Its simple, loose the system, unscrew the Drive, behinde you will see two kinds of wire connected to the drive. One is Powering while the other is called IDE cable, it connects the Drive to the motherboard. You might probably see a thrid wire that is small; it connects Audio from drive to the motherboard.
Remove the power from the old Drive and put in the new one, like wise the IDE cable. As for the IDE cable, you need to insert the right part, the center of the IDE cable does not have a hole and the center of the Drive does not have pin. So you need to check both of them very well to make sure they are fixed appropriately.
They you can power your computer and get started. And make sure you crosscheck after fixing to be sure it is well connected.
I wish you the best.
