Question about LG 42LC2D 42 in. LCD HDTV
It sounds like the cabinet is causing the issue. You might want to go around to all of the back screws on the TV and give them just a quarter of a tun and see if that helps. If that does nothing for it then possibly one of the speakers is bad. This can be confirmed by placing the balance control towards the left speaker first and listen to see if it still happens. If it does shift the balance to the right. If it stops then you know the left speaker is defective. The part number for the speakers are as follows. I doubt the tweeters are the issue, but I thought I'd get you the part numbers anyway. Please take a few moments to rate my answer, Thank you...
