Question about Samsung PS50A466 50 in. Plasma HDTV-Ready
I can't seem to find the part number for the model you have listed. In most cases it is cheaper to replace the TV then to replace the panel. In my experience of replacing panels under warranty, they are usually at least 1000.00 or more in cost. Then you also will have a core charge which you will have to pay since you said your panel is smashed meaning it is not rebuild-able. Please take a few moments to rate my answer. Thank you...

SOURCE: smashed glass screeen on samsung
Most of the times smashed screen means the end of plasma tv. Although if your tv model is older than 3 years, you could search for same model broken tv's with working screens since power supplies usually last for a few years in modern flat panels. Though you will need a qualified serviceman to do the assembly from two faulty units into a working one.
