the short answer is no. with a wiring diagram and the right tools you may be able to bypass the PATS system but it involves the engine computer. there are aftermarket devices that are supposed to bypass the system for remote start, but you still need a key with the right chip.
Were the lock and unlock wires connected to the system? Lock: Gray/White (-) @ 40 PIN CONN OF BCM PIN 27 Unlock: Gray/Red (-) @ 40 PIN CONN OF BCM PIN 26
Do you have a Smartpass key or a regular key? What bypass are you using for the remote start system?
Yes, There are two Immobilizer bypass modules on the market that will work with your vehicle without having to sacrifice a key. Xpresskit offers the DBALL and PK9. Both require programming to function properly.
most aftermarket alarms have a valet button and in the case of lost or broken key fob the button can be held or pressed when the ignition is turned on the turn alarm off. if it is a factory installed system usually opening driver door with the key will disarm it
Hold down the the lock and unlock buttons on the remote while by the vehicle for about 10 seconds this should reset the key fob.The locks may cycle but should correct the issue.
Try changing the battery in the key fog. If that doesn't work you can try finding an aftermarket key fog with a greater range. It is probably just default range.
