Question about JVC AV-56WP74 56" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

I replaced my Pojection lamp and it says to reset timer. I click menu and i get down to where it says timer and it wont let me press okay to reset it!

    JVC AV-56WP74 TV shown in question does not have lamp inside, its 3 CRT rear projection TV. Please post exact model number written at back of TV to provide you helpful info. Thanks.

The machine starts, eventhe vent, but no image appears. All the lights, except the POWER SAVING one remain lights on.


  • Plug the projector into the wall and put it into standby mode. You should have already replaced the projector's lamp with a new LMP-P200.
  • Press the "Reset," left arrow, right arrow and "Enter" keys on the projector's control panel. Press them in the exact order listed here, one after another, and press each key for less than five seconds.
  • Turn the projector on with the "Power" button. Press the "Menu" key to enter the projector's menu settings.
  • Press the down arrow to navigate to the "Install Setting" menu and press the right arrow to select it. You should see the lamp timer at the bottom of the screen. If you have correctly reset the lamp timer, it will indicate 0 or 1 hours.
  • Press the "Menu" key to exit the menu system.

    How do you reset the lamp timer for a sony Bravia


    Turn on the projector
    press MENU (as show in picture step by step)
    use down arrow key and select SETUP
    press ENTER
    use down arrow key to select LAMP SETTING
    press ENTER
    menu screen below will be appeared.
    ON SCREEN display
    setting for lamp replacement
    Has the projection lamp been replaced?
    YES NO
    Select YES with left arrow key (yes is preselected)
    press ENTER
    ON SCREEN display
    lamp replacement process is now complete
    press ENTER
    now exit the MENU with menu key and check the lamp timer

    Getting message "After replacing lamp, reset the lamp timer." How do I do that?


    From the manual located here.

    Turn on the projector, and reset the lamp timer.
    (1) While the projector running, press the MENU button to open the menu.
    (2) Choose the “OPTION” on the menu using the up/down arrow button, then press the right arrow button or ENTER button.
    (3) Choose the “LAMP TIME” using the up/down arrow button, then press and hold the
    RESET button for 3 seconds.
    (4) Choose the “RESET” using the up button.

    SHARP XV-Z91E Projector Replaced lamp but


    hold down menu, enter, and down arrow, then press power. this is the only way to reset the lamp timer. if it won't turn on and there are no leds lit, you may have to reset the bimetal breaker. to do so, remove the 6 bottom screws and the top 2 screws on the back panel, and remove the top case. on the front side of the lamp housing, you will see a red button. press it. if it clicks, it is reset. if it doesn't, it wasn't tripped, and you have a power supply issue.

    HOW do you reset the timer>? the lights on front of the tv flash 3 gree then 2 orange. Says to replace lamp,which I did then reset timer...HOW?


    press "menu" button, scroll down to "special features" and press "ok" button, scroll down to "reset lamp timer" and press "ok" button, you will notice the "no" change to "yes" and press "ok" button, you will notice "yes" change to "no", this will reset the lamp timer
