Hi, It's not likely you can help me with my problem. Firstly, i need to tell you I am in a wheelchair. Secondly, I have to tell you that my Coby tv was purchased new, in January and the remote quite in June. I have been in contact with the cutomer service department, twice, as to getting a new remote. I am told I am under warrenty, and all i need do it to send a copy of my reciept with a money order for 6 dollars to Coby.

I am in a wheelchair I am wondering how a company can expect me to get a money order?
my personal check isn't good,my credit card is not good. I need to get a money order? This is the very last Coby product I ever purchase

Well now that the holidays are closing in, I'd like to have the remore to see some movies. Its not likely . I have a hard time operating the side buttons.
Coby is a company out of touch with reality. My TV is under warranty but I need to pay for a remote? I called to get the name and address of the CEO to complain, and I was told that wasn't available.

please forward this to the CEO, I feel this is grossly unfair, and I'd like a responce.

Is there an owner's manual available?


You will be needing to talk to some wheel chair experts, and they will need to see the wheelchair.
Many of today's wheelchairs are made outside the United States, and therefore have no identification.
An expert should be able to tell you what you have.
There are some owner's manuals for some, not for others.

Will only work at a slow speed speed con worked fine the next day dead slow is al it will do


have a dealer tech check it with a programer and he will tell u what the problem is by checking the error log could be just a joy stick needs to be reset or the control box in the rear,make sure your insurance will help with repair

sounds like you might have locked joystick by mistake. Try pressing and holding down the on/off switch for 5 seconds.

Here are some tips

  • When booking your flight: Use a travel agent who is experienced with planning trips for travelers with disabilities.
  • Make your reservation far in advance.
  • If possible, choose an airline with planes that have 30 seats or more - larger planes offer more accessibility.
  • Pick a flight with no changeovers. Call ahead to alert the reservation clerk that you will be traveling with a wheelchair.
  • Arrange for boarding assistance or an aisle chair to get to your seat. And if you can't walk, request an aisle chair during your flight for bathroom use.
  • You should arrive at the airport At least an hour in advance so you can store your fold-up wheelchair on-board. (There is usually room for one wheelchair on a first-come basis).
  • When possible, use gel batteries, as wet batteries must be removed and stored in a separate sealed container.
