Wont fit through door to move how to take apart

The only part you can remove is the door handle or the doors complete. Leave it and sell it to the new owners. Do you have a patio door you can take it out of?

Door removal

You can remove the hings, then disconnect electrical and water lines. Make sure you have help taking it off or you could damage the door or screw holes.

See if the end caps will pry off of the handles and see if there is a screw holding it on. You need to post your model number for more specific info.

NOTE: Handle appearance may vary from illustrations on this page.

• Grasp the handle tightly with both hands and slide the handle up (1)(this may require some force).

• The keyhole slots (2) on the back of the handle allow the handle to separate from the mounting screws (3).

CAUTION: The handle could be damaged if you hit it with a hammer while removing or attaching.

I want to fix handles on the doors. Can I remove the finger holds at the sides of the doors to access inside of the door fronts?

You have not mentioned the model but you will have to open the inside lining of the tray holders , to remove to get access to the handle fitting screws, which can be removed to fix the new one.

this are the instruction to follow below

1.Check out how the door panels are attached to the car. Most panels usescrews and bolts but others have snap-in fittings. Gather all the toolsyou need for removing the door panels. If the panel is attached withscrews and bolts, you need a screwdriver or ratchet and socket. Cardoor panels with snap-in fittings are easily removed with a flatheadscrewdriver.

2Locate where the screws and bolts are before starting. These areusually found in the arm rest area, along the bottom or sometimes nearthe door lights.

3 Roll down the car door window. Begin removing all screws and bolts thathold the door panel onto the car. If your car has snap-in fittings, prygently on the bottom corner of the door panel until the fittings popout.

4.Remove the power window control panel if your car has power windows. The control panel should pry out easily, and then you unplug the wiringharness from the back and place it to the side.
5Use an L pick and flashlight when locating a manual window crank. Lookbehind the window crank and slide the pick under the edge of the metalclip that holds the crank in place.

.Remove the clip and pull the crankoff.Remove the door handle by unscrewing the small screw located in thecenter. Gently pull the door handle out until you see the back of thehandle and unclip the rod from the door handle. This should remove thehandle unless the handle and door lock are attached, then you justunclip the rod from the lock and remove them both together.

7.Unscrew the cap off rear upper corner doorpanel locks. These don't have a rod attaching them to the handle andunscrew separately from the door handle.

8.Pop the door panel off after you've removed everything. Gently pry onthe bottom edge of the door panel until it releases. Pull out and up tocompletely remove the door panel.
please do all this instruction with care thank and

thanks for using fixya.

    Refrigerator won't fit thru door.

I ran into the same problem when I moved into my old house. the door way was to small, so I had to take both doors off the refrigerator to get it through the doorway. But I found out when I moved out of the house, that I was able to open both doors and wiggle it through the doorway. It was a hassle but it was alot easier that removing the doors. Good luck.
