If you do hear it Your water line could be frozen in the door. You can disconnect the line at the bottom before it goes into the door at the bottom hinge. Push the dispenser button and see if it comes out there. If it does, leave the door open till it thaws.

If it doesn't come out there disconnect it at the water inlet valve and see if it comes out there. The valve could be bad.

Ice and Water not dispensing. Light button not working

http://www.repairclinic.com/0100_1.asp
There's an ice- or water-dispensing problem The ice and water-dispensing system of your refrigerator is quite complex. Many components work together to provide the ice and water. Aside from a simple problem of a leaky water tube or a jammed ice chute, most other components are not user serviceable. We suggest that you contact a qualified appliance repair technician for such repairs.

When water dispenser is pushed the water supply line rattles and very little water comes out. The water supply line has good pressure and the ice maker works. I also changed the filter.

Our water dispenser will work for about half a glass then the pressure immediately stops and the water flow goes to a small stream. Maytag MDZ2667HES Wide by Side. HELP! Filter was changed approx 3 months ago.

Freezer does not make ice

You need to check and see if ice maker has any water init. if not check the fill tube that goes thru the back wall for stoppage while you have it out rin the maker thru a harvest mode and listen for the sounds of the solonoid opening. If tube is full you'll need to replace the slow leaking valve a common problem. for parts call 704-819-6557

Ice/water dispenser not lit or working

I think this is probably just a coincidence that you changed the water filter and a couple of weeks later the dispenser doesnt work. If it failed the same or next day then possibly related but unlikely. The water filter purely affects the water supply line. Does the dispenser (water) make a noise (clicking) when activated. If it does then I would check the incoming water supply. If it makes no noise then you possibly have an electrical fault not providing power down to the water solenoid valve. The way to check the ice dispenser is to see if you first have any ice production if you do then again it could be an electrical control fault. You could check the underneath of the cabinet low level for the wiring connection from the door to see if it is dislodged or damaged however if it is a control issue then I would suggest contacting a good fridge tech. Hope this helps.
