Hello. If your washer handles regular clothes with no problem it could be that the shear weight of the blankets is too much for your machine. I recommend taking these heavy items to the laundromat and saving your washing machine for lighter loads.

Sunbeam electric blanket repair waynesboro ms

wash the blanket then throw it in the bin
water and electrical components do not mix
electrical blankets are just a resistor element in ceramic covering and if you put that in a washing machine that is the end of the insulation

Agator not spinning

There is no belt on that unit. It is a direct drive machine. When the unit goes into the wash cycle, does the motor run but it does not agitate?

May i wash blankets in th washing machine

Wahing blankets in the washer depends on the washer and it depends on th blanket. If its a thin blank or small quilt than usually yes. If you have a comforter than I recommend taking to laundry mat. Top load washer is designed for between 18-28lbs of laundry. It may not feel that heavy but soak it with water than feel how heavy. If its a direct drive washer and you put too much weight in it the couple will break. If its belt driven you can break the belt or wear out the moter. If its a front load washer they are designed to hold more but The motor can only handle so much weight or it burns out. The belt could also break if its too much weight. The simplest way of determining it is if the blanket does not soak up alot of water ( thin blanket ) than its ok If blanket soaks up alot of water (comforter) take to laundry mat. I hope this helped. Anymore questions please comment me back.

Lion Brank Nature's Choice Organic cotton sheds like crazy. What do I do? Made a beautiful baby blanket and afraid to give to the mommy, baby will end up with a mouthful of cotton.

You may want to soak the (finish product) of the blanket in a warm soapy water (bar/bath soap is prefer). Let it stay for about 20 minutes or so. Do not wring or dry it in the machine. Use a fresh towel. Lay the towel on flat surface. Put the wet blanket on top of towel. Roll the towel together with the blanket and add a little pressure to the roll to get the excess water out of the blanket. If still need it take another fresh towel and do it the same way. Then, lay flat to dry. Warm water and soap usually will make the fiber to be less sheds. Good luck!

Front load washer won't drain

Possibly a blocked pump. Sounds about right if it has only happened after that item was washed.
