Question about Philips Magnavox DVD Player MWD200F
Avi, mpg, mov, mp4, these are all video files. you can use almost any cd-r band. dvd movies require use of dvd-r disks. some dvd-r disks are not playable in all players.

First off you use DVD's secondly if your recording from the TV you run it like any other recorder, if on the other hand you are trying to burn a DVD movie on your computer you need specific software to solve this problem, I use dvdflicks, it's freeware and is arguably the best program and the least complex one for someone who is just beginning to record movies, BTW it doesn't matter what DVD play you own as long as you have a DVD burner in your computerthey are not expensive and most will do double duty as they will work with CD's as well
