Re: hotmail

You should be able to log into hotmail and find your server information.

Email settings

To receive emails from hotmail, gmail or yahoo, you need to connect the phone to the Internet.

To connect to the internet call the customer service number from your mobile phone provider (eg.AT&T, Vodafone, 3, Telecom, Virgin etc.). They will guide you step-by-step, giving you the correct settings.

Pop3 account set up on htc tytnII

For Blue Yonder, Virgin, NTL you must only put the mailbox name in for the username.
Also, for the outgoing server do not use the blue yonder value unless you are at home. The outgoing server has to match the broadband supplier, unless you have your own website set up for email and most providers will accept this

Setup gmail on my samsung i600

I can access gmail on my phone; it's fairly straightforward: - unlock the keypad - hit the 'envelope' button at the bottom right to go into 'Messaging' - select the bottom item: "New Acccount" - choose "Other (POP3/IMAP)" from the e-mail provider list and hit Next - Enter your name and email address, then hit Next (leave the "Automatic setup" checkbox ticked; it makes no difference) - hit Next again to skip the automatic configuration - enter your gmail username (with the bit; I like to use the to download only the most recent emails) and password. Leave Domain (if necessary) blank and hit Next - choose server type "POP3", account name "Gmail" and select whatever network (WAP Gateway or Internet) you want to use, depending on how you want to connect - Enter the following - - Incoming Server: - - Require SSL connection should be checked (ticked) - - Outgoing Server: - - Outgoing server requires authentication should be checked - - Outgoing server configuration: - - - Use different user name for outgoing server (if you've used the recent: username for downloading email) - - - Enter your gmail - - - Enter your password - - - Leave domain blank and check "save password"  - - - check "Require SSL connection" - - - then click Done - - Select however many day's worth of emails you want to download and click Next - - Select "Never" to connect automatically if you aren't on an unlimited data tariff! - Click Next then Finish.
Hope this works!

Mail deleted from email server when it is deleted on the phone(blackjack)

When you delete mail from a POP3, aol, etc. It sends a request through mail watcher to delete it from your email account. I have the same problem too. It does not even actually go to trash or anything such as a recycle bin. The only suggestion I have is to delete the ones you do not need, and keep the ones you have to read later on the pc.

you can, if you have an internet connection to your phone and a pop3 and smtp account on your email.

On jam, go to messaging >Accounts>Outlook E-Mail>Account>New Account...>Enter your e-mail Address: >next>next>Your Name>Username (Put your email login username)> Password (Your E-mail Password)>Account Type (POP3 is OK)>incoming mail (pop3 address, for gmail ,its>Outgoing Mail (smtp server, like>Domain (if any)>finish.

Email Configration of Motorola A120

ssorry to say but you cant able to configure motoming for hotmail setup not beacause of your phone support but hotmail not support. i mean to say in any mobile device or e-mail client when we configure any mail setting there is option in setting, LIKE POP3 AND IMAP4 BUT IN HOTMAIL BOTH THESE ACCESS POINT NOT SUPPORTED THEY REQUIRED HTTP FOR THAT, SO YOU CANT ACCESS HOTMAIL ON MOTOMING,NON ONLY MOTOMING BUT ON ANY MOBILE DEVICE. SO BETTER YOU CHOOSE YAHOO FOR THE SAME.
