Question about SanDisk Sansa Clip MP3 Player
Low temp can effect these. However 45 is not too terriblly cold. Usually like 30 degree freezing point can definately cause this. I would let it dry to room temp for 24 hours before trying to turn it on again. Otherwise the firmware may have to be updated which can be done from manufacture's website.
If it is not turning on, then the battery pack may be dead or the ribbon cable to main circuit board could be faulty. The ribbon cable problem is common in many devices. Often they have to be soldered on better or replaced in general.
