Question about Averatec AV1020-ED1 Notebook
Hi im going nuts, I clean installed windows xp in my averatec 1020-ED1 and wireless is not recognized ( i can still connect to internet via regular cable). I downloaded the driver for wlan from averatecs website but an error doesn't let me install it...it says that a file in the windows32 directory is missing, to confirm that it exists and then retry...any idea what can I do?
I'm seeing two different wlan drivers on the site, Intel WLAN, and Ralink WLAN. I would verify you are trying to use the correct one.

I have a Sony Laptop with Microsoft Windows XP. I have the Ralink 802.11 Wireless LAN PC card and have managed to install it, I think, I managed to have the R and the a show up in green. I'm thinking that I probably need to change some of my settings somewhere. Can you help me?
