Re: swintec 7040

If you want to type capital letters and numerals push the alpha lock. It allows you type capital letters and numbers at the same time without having to unlock the shift key.

I want to activate the bold function

I don't have a 7040 to refer to, but if it has bold it will be a key that says bold, akey with bold on the face of it, or bold written above the key. The last 2 will require pressing the code key plus that key.

How do I enable the BOLD feature on my Swintek 4040 typewriter?

There should be either a mode or code key that you need to hold down while you are pressing the bold key. You should the see a little arrow light up under the bold function on the display if you do it correctly.

Good Luck
