Take it with you to a local chainsaw shop, they can make one to fit. Chain size depends on drive links
what size chain do i need for a poulan pro 35cc no - e982cd8.jpg The new chain will have the same number as your existing chain. 1 or 2 drive links won't have much impact on the size of the loop; it will impact you ability to tension it. HTH

Check the link below for your model. If not available as a download, the contact info is on the left side of the page. Poulan is now owned by Husqvarna, BTW.

Replacing gas line

Your fuel lines are routed like the schematic below. I suggest you replace the filter, all hoses (2 different sizes), and the purge button (bleeder).

Remove chain guard

The OM for your saw is is the best guide. You can download a replacement here (disengage the chain brake first - pull handle aft):
Poulan.com/CurrentModels
http://www.poulanpro.com/node4043.aspx
Type just the model numbers (choose the suffix after the list is provided).

A broad adjustment procedure can be found here. Completely remove the bar cover, slide the bar against the drive sprocket, remove the chain from the bar.

I have a poulan pro 35cc chainsaw. The coil spring was not doing its job. Now I can't get it back in.

Coil it up real tight. Try putting mini cable ties on to hold it together while you slip it into the housing then snip them off carefully with side cutters. It can be tricky. I use ties for lawnmowers, outboards and all small engines.

Hope this helps.
