I think you need to clarify your request -

but am I assume you had XP and then did a custom upgrade to 7? If so, then to go back to XP will require either a reinstall from your XP disc or a restore from the restore media that came with the original system.

Depending on the age of you computer (speed+RAM)- 7 will work great and is much better than XP or Vista

Is adobe photoshop elements 3 compatible with windows 7

I want to mention that Photoshop Elements 3 is not tested with the Windows 7.

If you have a windows 7 64 bit operating System then it may not even install in it. If you have a 32 bit Operating System then you can try to install it. However it may still not work even on a Windows 7 32 bit Operation System as it was not made and tested for this Operating System.

There is a probability that if you install the Windows XP mode on you Windows 7 operating system then it may work.
Check more about installing Windows XP mode here: Install and use Windows XP Mode in Windows 7

Windows xp end of support

And your problem is? Windows XP was/is an excellent version of Windows. It was very popular and many users still use it. But it came out in 2001. Microsoft can't be expected to support operating systems forever. XP is 13 years old.

If you are having a particular issue, post the issue and maybe someone can help.

I suggest that, if possible, upgrade to Windows 7 or 8.
I know there is expense in doing so. And that many are reluctant to upgrade because they like XP. But Windows 7 is excellent. And many people that I hear from like Windows 8.1 .

I cannot upload photos into Craigslist while using Windows 7. I had no problem with Windows XP. Resizing the photos does not help. Can you help? Is it a defect with Win. 7? I also have problems...

I don't think which OS you are using to upload a image to Craigslist. Means whether Win XP, Win7, Mac or any other os doesn't have n=anything to do with Craigslist's uploading.
As you said there might be some problem in Win7 finding a path through a third party method. See whether you system requirement for installing Win7. If the system requirement does not achieve the minimum such problems can arise in win7.
Hope this helps, please rate and let me know if any assistance needed, thanks!

My operating system is window xp. it is not licensed. How can I turn it to a licensed operating system by using the internet.Getting a free operating system like windows xp or 7..

As much I want to give you answer to your question. Since the copy of your Windows XP is not licensed there's no way for you to have it a licensed copy. What I can suggest to you is buy your own license since it will give you security for your computer.
I hope I answered your question.
Thanks a lot!!

I have notebook acer aspire 5741g and window7, ATI Mobility Radeon and I have no problem. Now I want to work Windows XP. I look for compatible drivers.

I would suggest that you download and install the FREE XP mode for Windows 7. That way you can easily move back and forth between Windows 7 applications and XP applications.

You can also install the FREE XP virtual machine on your Windows 7 and have an XP computer on your Windows 7 computer. Works great and much better than Dual Booting. I

If Windows 7 is working with no problems on your Windows 7 installation your ATI Mobility Radeon will function fine under either XP Mode or a Microsoft XP virtual machine.

Give it a try. It is very easy to install and use.

Can't install sharp al1642cs with windows 7 64 bit

There is actually no driver available on Sharp al1642cs for the Windows 7 64 bit operating system.

I do suggest you downgrade your operating system to windows Vista or XP, to be able to use your printer again.

Hope this helps.

Hi presently my computer is running of XP SP2 i have downloaded windows 7 rc 1 fron msdn. when i happened to run setup it says that spinstall.exe is not valid windows 32 application. please suggest what...

You cannot upgrade directly from Windows Xp to Windows 7 you will have to use a different method which you can find out more about from the Windows 7 cd it comes with the utility to see if your system will support it. Do not take a short cut find out everything you need to know before trying to change operating systems. Hardware compatability etc.

You will need new drivers for Win 7. Before attempting to go to Win 7, run the Microsoft Upgrade Advisor and see what issues it lists: (since laptops have on-board video that may be an issue). You will be doing a custom install from XP and have to reinstall all of your programs and drivers - many will be available. Several XP programs will not install in Win7 without some work (compatability mode or the XP mode virtual machine (in Pro or Ultimate). Upgrading your software may be needed unless you have the latest version that supports XP through Win7 or want to do the work-arounds.

In addition you would be wise to check for any BIOS updates for your specific machine and apply those. Windows 7 is a good OS if you have 2 GB or more of memory. It can run with less but it isn't better than XP in that case. The biggest difference is that Win7 will be supported by Microsoft for updates for a longer period (patches); XP will lose that support in the next few years.

I hope this helps.

(I converted an XP desktop to Win7. However, my video card could handle the OS and I have 2.5 GB of memory and a Windows Experience Index of 3.9 from the system.)
