Sounds like the clip is broken that holds it down. you could try to put it in there and move the game back and forth inside (not much tho) till it stays. if it dosent work take it back as not not void the warenty ( asuming u have one) if u dont have a warenty then i say get the rite screw socets (flat head electronic screws wil work for now) and try to put it back on

Hi My daughters console will not recognised games inserted into the slot. I've tired all different games and nothing works and I've tried the games in my sons DSi with no problem. Pls help

There is a problem with the game reader, try cleaning the metal pins on the reader itself if that doesn't work send it in for warranty, if neither works you are going to need a new DSi

My son's Dsi XL just started to not recognize when a game cartridge is inserted, it will appear if I push and hold the cartridge down, but not stay on as supposed to.

the card reader is broken you need to either call Nintendo to fix it or get a 3rd party to fix it you can go to craigslist and search ds repair and you will get people to do it for a less fee then Nintendo make sure you take some on along with you

Unfortunately, this may mean that your DS is broken and needs to be repaired/replaced. You can call Nintendo at 1-800-255-3700 for a pricing estimate.

My son has a ds lite with an r4 card, i am thinking of getting him a dsi, i know his r4 card will not work but would i be able to remove the sd card and insert it into a new r4i card? would his games work?...

Yes, his games will work, as the DSi will be fully backwards compatible. You should be able to use the same memory card that he uses in the DS Lite.

Is their a different way to charge a dsi

Unfortunately the only way to charge the DSi is with the charging port. You can get different chargers if you lost yours, but if there is another problem, like the port broken, there really isnt a way. Hope I could help ;) thanks

Wii won't "take in" disks.

There is a trigger switch that the disc hits when it is inserted, this tells the consol to pull the disc in, when a disc is ejected the proper way the system retracts the trigger so the disc can be ejected, By pulling the disc out with force your son has either broken the trigger and the consol cannot tell that a disc is inserted, or he has pulled the trigger backwards and the disc is not making contact with the trigger...You will have to disassemble the consol to inspect the trigger (unless you can see it threw the slot) and either place it in its proper setting or super glue it back together.. Another option is to send it in for repair...Hope this helps
