its the front end of the printer unit, a very large piece. after x amount of prints it has to be replaced. very simple, clicks out, new one clicks in. the left hand socket just seems to be stuck straight up so i cant insert the stem of the transfer kit into it.

I understand how to replace the transfer kit. but that is not the issue. the issue is the left hand cup recepticle that the transfer kit slides into seems to be stuck straight up. unlike the right hand cup that i can pivot forward to receive the new kit i can not do with the left hand cup. is there a button so that I can release the left hand cup so that it can come down and face out so i can slide the new transfer kit into it and snap it in.

The left cup is not rotating down because it is fixed by a pin to the left metal axle. There seems to be a mechanism on the left of the metal axle that keeps it from rotating towards the front.

I got the left cup to come down by shaking the cup and axle left and right while simultaneously applying gentle pressure to get the cup to rotate outwards toward me.

Hi.
Try grasping the transfer unit with two hands on the side , after ensuring that the handle had been released, and try to remove the transfer unit out, do not force it in.
After removing transfer unit follow instructions on service document below to install new transfer unit without risking to damage the printer.
Instructions will start at page 67:

Re: " left hand cup recepticle that the transfer kit slides into seems to be stuck straight up."

I know, that happens only when you jump part of the procedure or do it in a wrong way, usually because you did not released both blue locks at sides of transfer unit.

Now that the mess is done you have to play with the unit until it comes out , do not push it inside.

The operation is quite practical, and there is not much that I can do from here. If the locks at the sides went already inside the rail and one is not unlocked, then you may be in troubles.

When it is free do again the procedure, this time follow the document I gave, or the manual.

Can not remove sd card from storage expansion slot

Push the card in just a bit until it clicks, then it should release unless it is stuck. Sometimes this happens with new SD cards until they are inserted and ejected a few times.

Micro SD card stuck in cell phone slot

Not other than pushing it in. Make sure the case isn't separating/splitting near the microsd port.

Best way to get it out is with tweezers.

I hate it when cards get stuck.

Hope this helps,
Simon.

Replace the transfer unit when the printer control panel displays REPLACE TRANSFER

. The image transfer kit contains a replacement transfer unit for this printer.
WARNING! Remove any jewelry or any other metal items from your body to avoid electric shock.

1. Lift the front door handle and pull down the front door.
2. Grasp the right blue handle. Press and hold down the blue button. Slightly lift the right

Reverse only?

Hi,

I too just aquired a husqvarna viking 6030 that was stuck in straight-stitch reverse. No forward, no zig zag, no button hole, no cam stitches. I also suspected a broken spring, since the reverse button was slack and had no resistance. But after inspecting every moving part, I realized it was just stuck from many years of non-use. I finally got it free today! I had used some Tri-Flow oil and applied it sparingly to all moving points (but not belts or motor). I exercised all the buttons and like another poster (either here or elsewhere, not sure) I used my hair dryer to apply heat to the inside of the machine through the cam slot. After you remove the white cover on back of machine that holds the two spool spindles, you will see a formed aluminum part just behind the reverse dial that has a rounded-pointed protrusion which sort of looks like a fat flat head screwdriver. It is supposed to travel in an up-down motion when reverse button is pressed. I used a flat head driver to coax its movement, and once it began moving, I continued with heat and drops of oil. Good luck.

Bose Lifestyle 30 6-cd changer magazine manual release?

hi, you can release the magazine by inserting a small flat head screwdriver in the slot and pushing the lever towards the back of the unit, this will release the cd but only if ther is not one stuck in the player as it will remain halfway between the mag and the cdplayer. don't force it to comae out. remember to obviously have the dorr to the player open before you try this.
