The back brake locked up and released what is wrong with it how do I fix it

It could be the springs inside the drum, could be rusted and stuck or broke, take your tire off and pull your brake drums

Left rear wheel will not turn at all and is locked on. The right rear is just dragging. The handbrake appears to have released normally. Car is a one year old small Chrysler - it belonds to a friend and is...

Does the car have drums or disc brakes on the rear? If it has drums then the handbrake lever may not be releasing on the rear shoe itself or a spring or brake lining could have let go and got jammed. If the handbrake lever is the problem then removing the wheel and striking the drum with a large ball peen hammer should release it (may be barbaric but it works), this will not solve the problem the brakes would have to be removed and serviced or replaced depending on the problem. If the vehicle however has disc brakes on the rear then the caliper on that wheel may have become stuck or seized, normally they are replaced nowadays if this occurs since rebuild kits are not readily available. Still with disc brakes could also have stuck pad in its guide on the bracket, although much less likely, also tends to be less costly since you only have to remove and clean it up (rust, etc). If the handbrake is inside the rotor (internal drum), then you could have a problem with the shoes or lever releasing inside the rotor (depending on the setup on the rear). As well if it were not brakes in very, very rare occasions a wheel bearing could lock up, not very likely though. hope this will help you good luck

Wont open

ok This is a failure inside the system and can be cause by the disc being stuck in an okward position you can open by turning of your console from the back and opening up your PS3, DON'T DO THIS IF YOU HAVE WARRENTY, if you dont have warrenty open up ur ps3 and release the jammed disc but if you have warrenty dont do anything just send it away to get repaired

It won't eject - disc comes oout just a little bit

I am not sure exactly what kind of computer that you have but on almost every cd/dvd/ etc drive that I have ever seen there is a manual eject hole. It is usually located on the faceplate of the drive somewhere. It is literally about the size to allow a pin(like a safety pin) to fit in. Insert the pin into the hole and pish gently until you feel it hit the release mechanism. At this point it may require a tad more force to push the pin more but once that mechanism is released , the door should open atleast enough for you to pull it (gently) the rest of the way and retrieve your disc that was in there.

I have had this happen before...somtimes all those little gears get stuck and after the manual eject they work fine, and sometimes I have had to replace the drive because the gears(theres tons of them) inside are stuck or broken.

Disc stuck in machine. took off cover. can see

Find the electrical motor and try to turn it with your fingers, it should move the gears in order to release mechanism. It its stops and no movement, turn the motor the other way.

Something stuck in disc drive of ps3

There is no need to open up the console! Make sure the power is off! Get someone to hold the PS32_bing.gif upside down (so the disc slot is facing down) then get 2 butter knives insert them carefully one on the left and one on the right of the disc slot. Now gently push the knives away from eachother so that the one on left goes left and the one on the right goes right. You will feel them push the brackets that hold the disc in. As you push the brackets you will release the mechanism that holds the disc in and it should just drop out. I did this with mine when my little boy decided to put a credit like card in it!

Pioneer 12 disc cd changer in car

Try unplugging the unit and then powering it up again, this will make it reset and could release the disc's if not, you could have a lok inside the unit, see if and discs are half loaded.

other than that, send it off to a repair agent

Disc stuck in unit

Unplug power cord. Plug back power and keep pressing the eject button repeatedly while the unit starts up. Do this a couple of times, if you succeed in activating the eject before the system starts reading the disk, then it will eject.

If you do not get the disk out in this way, the only alternative is taking the unit apart, and removing disk from inside manually.
