There is a shock pump tool you can buy either at a bicycle shop or online that will let you add air to your shock or fork. Make sure you research your model's specified volume/pressure before you go for it so you do not damage anything.

What's the standard shocks for it

Usually when a car has air shocks that car is built with an air compressor to keep those shocks blown up. My Buick had air shocks and a compressor but the shocks wore out and was losing all the air making the compressor wear out. Instead of replacing everything at a great expense I had new air shocks put on throwing the compressor away. and run an air line just under my license plate, Just pump them up like pumping a tire . I check them about every three months and saved a lot of money.

Can I change from air shocks to regilar shocks

You want to replace the air ride? I think that car would have air bags and not shocks. I have a friend that has one of those older huge Mercury Cougars and hers has air ride. The pump went bad and as I searched for new pumps I did find a site that sells a kit to replace the air bags with coil springs.

I don't know what the site was anymore but I do know they are out there so doing a web search would not be futile.

Can I replace my air ride shocks on the back of my 96 explorer with regular shocks and do away with the air ride? I need new shocks and don't want to invest alot of money on an old car.

Yes, you can just put regular shocks on the back, just make sure you get shocks that have the same length as your original ones and that are from a explorer without air suspension. That way you wont have the back end of the car riding too low or bottoming out.

Air ride suspension rear dont work how can i check whats wrong?

The 97 Caddie Seville STS has an air compressor located under the car just in front of the passenger side muffler, above the crossmember. It is a pretty weak compressor, and is only designed to slowly fill up the shocks. Probable issues are a blown compressor, or leaky shocks. Before replacing either make sure you have power going to the compressor, and air going to the shocks. No power to the compressor could be caused by a bad wire, relay, connector or fuse all of which are cheaper to fix. If you have power, check the little air lines leading to the shocks from the compressor to see if you have a leak. Airlines are much cheaper than shocks.

Replace front shocks-- What kind of shock is best? Can I replace them without putting the car on a hoist?

YOU HAVE TO TURN OFF AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM IF YOU HAVE AUTOMATIC LEVELING AIR SPRINGS. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SAFELY RAISE SUPPORT VECHICLE ON JACK STANDS REMOVE THE OLD SHOCKS. PRIME NEW SHOCKS PUMP THEM UP COMPRESS PUT ON VECHICLE.DONT FORGOT TO TURN OFF AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM FIRST IF YOU DONT THE AIR COIL SPRINGS WILL OVER EXTEND PUMP MORE AIR IN SPRINGS CAUSE DAMAGE TO AIR SPRINGS.

2003 Olds Silhoutte Air Shocks and Compressor - not working

The load leveling shock will not work if there is an issue with the compressor. If you buy the sir shock's, your going to have to address the compressor issue to even have the air shocks level the Silhouette. Once you have the compressor issue addressed, the shocks it's self is simple enough to replace that you can do it with common tools to save you some money. My wife has a Montana and we had the same problem, since we do not tow and really never hold that much weight. We replaced the rear shocks with Monroe Reflex Shocks, Found the van to be much more sturdy then the air shocks ever were and the good thing about them is there were lift time replacement at Parts Source. Regardless on which shocks your going to use, it's a good rule to replace both sides at the same time. The only difference in to reinstalling the air shocks is you need to reattach the air lines to the shocks and that's simple as removing the shocks it self. The shocks are only held on by two bolts,  one on top and one on bottom and should only take about 20 min each side to do since you have to jack the car up and remove the wheel for room, but you can remove the shocks it self without removing the wheel, it's your preference. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to answer any questions you may have.

99 Deville rear air shocks not working.

This is an expensive repair sometimes and you may want to replace this system with inflatable air bags that fit inside the rear coil springs and then are inflated. I think they cost about $80.00 or $120.00 depending on the car.

My 2003 Harley Ultra rear shocks hve no spring left in them, they bottom out at bumps etc. The bike has 10K miles on it.Is there a fix or do I need new shocks? Seems like low milage for shocks to go bad.

Your ultra has rear air shocks. on the right side of the bike in the area of the fender is an air valve to install air. Do not add anymore then 25 lbs. a hand pump is safer an air compressor or gas station can have so much pressure it will blow the seals before you take the nozzel off. You will have to remove your hard bag to see the air input. Looks like a tire air nozzel should have a silver color cap on it.
