No picture unless on rewind then its fast. i have also found a short pin about 10 mm long dislodged and fallen out of the inside Model VL-E30H

It sounds like one of the guide pins inside the tape transport has broken off. Take the unit into a local repair shop, and get an estimate on repair. Since repair can be expensive, it's sometimes wiser to just upgrade to a new camcorder.
You can also contact Sharp support to see what can be offered for support, and where to get it at an Authorized Dealer:

Good luck, and hope this helps.

I want to know what cord I would need in order to import the videos from my SHARP 8 Viewcam VL-E35 to my computer?

This requires more than just a cable.

You can get videos from this camera, or any analogue video source, into a computer. You just have to play them into an analogue video interface port. These are available as expansion slot cards for a PC, or sometimes as a USB plug-in interface. They will come with drivers and probably software to digitise the video input and record it to a file. Lots of third party video editing software will also be able to accept the input from this kind of port. You don't need any "driver" related to the camera, it is just a video signal source. The connecting leads will be standard RCA signal plugs, like the ones you use to connect to a TV or VHS recorder. You probably already have a cable for this.

Once you have the video on the computer, you will need DVD "Authoring" and burning software, which will usually come as part of the same package. You can download such software for free from the internet- my first stop would be www.download.com.

Go to

the VL-AH150U manual should be very close to the VL-AH-151U.

Sharp Viewcam VL-AH151U keeps saying "eject cassette" why is that? How or where can i send this to get fixed?

Assuming the record tab is in the correct position, download the manual for the VL-AH150U, very close to the 151U.
Page 10 of the manual shows the normal reasons for the "eject cassette" message. If not, I would call Sharp support at
1-800-BE-SHARP (237-4277) for referral to a local repair center.
Let me know if this helps.

Can an adaptor be used to play my 8mm tape in my VHS VCR?

With the Sharp Viewcam ®, there's no need to use an adaptor to play 8 mm tape. Simply connect the Viewcam ® to the TV or VCR for playback. You can even use your VCR to make a copy onto VHS tape.
