Question about Stanley Tools TRE550 Electric Staple/Brad Nail Gun

Broken part in Stanley Heavy duty Electric Staple/Nail gun

I have a 0-TRE550 Heavy duty Electric Staple/Nail gun.
The piece which hits the staple in has broken at the top end where the metal is thinnest, going into the shaped plastic piece.
I can email a picture of the part if necessary.
Can I get a replacement part? and if so, how

Bought a new one. Stanley hold no spares in this country, so it was cheaper this way! I am disappointed it broke so easily, so soon in its proper life. The part that failed seems poorly designed to me.

How do I load the stapler?

No you don't. We answer most things here.

If the stapler is like any of these

You push the back in slightly to unlatch it and then drop it down a bit and the staple pusher comes out completely.

First, try holding the stapler very firm to your project and make sure that the piece that you staple in to is backed solid with no give or springiness.
second, you might try shorter staples,or . . try dialing in more tension by turning the big knob on the back end that has the "+" "-"

How do you load nails into a stanley tre550 nail staple gun?

there should be a button on the bottom rear of the gun, when you press it, it should release a bar that you pull back. the nails go in the dirction you nail them. sometimes the clips are too big for the guns and you have to break about an inch off of them
