i set the tv wide mode to panorama, but every time i switch it off and back on it returns to normal aspect ratio.
i have sky connected to scart 1 and nothing else, just sky

I have the Hannspree JT01 32" LCD tv and I have the same problem - on Sky and freeview, channels that are broadcast in 4:3 instead of 16:9 make the screen turn off for a few seconds until it sorts itself out and returns with a small screen. Is there any way to sort this? I have heared on some televisions you can stop it 'auto changing' the aspect ratio.
