Contact your ISP -- either they are having problems with all their customers in your area, or the 2WIRE router that they supply is "dying", and they should replace it.

Power Problem with 2Wire 2701HG-B

Sounds like a startup self test. All wireless devices go through a power on self test. Does it connect? You can connect to it and go online? I rarely turn mine off, only in a electrical storm.

I'm having the same issue now. Did you ever figure out what was wrong with your unit? Was it a bad lamp? Mine is only 9 months old, low hours, but perhaps a bad one? Can't understand why it would light sometimes but not others.

It's probably not dying. Just spend the time replacing the thermal paste on the heat sinks with Silver Thermal Paste from Radio Shack. Takes awhile, and you have to do it right. Don't be lazy and impatient with it while prepping the surfaces, and maybe it will all be alright. I switched out those 'X' clamps on mine with 4- 5mmX12mm machine screws, and 4 - 5mmX20mm machine screws...4 - #10 washers to even the mother board with the rest of the casing, A #10 Teflon washer on top of the motherboard(to keep it from shorting out in the future, and for heat expansion), another #10 metal washer on top of that, and then screwed them evenly into the heat sinks..Works fine now... Had to grind a few of the washers to have a flat side, and drill some 3/16 holes to make the casing holes a little bigger than factory size...but it was easy.

Monitor keeps blank even the power lLED is on green

If it's working fine in DOS, it can only be your display drivers for your operating system. What happes when you start in SAFE MODE? When you PC starts, keep pressing the F8 key, go to Safe Mode. If it works, bring the Resolution down to 800 X 600 and load the new display card drivers. Restart, should be fine.
