Any "male-male" video-cable will work.

Check whether you need a VGA-to-VGA cable, or a DVI-to-DVI cable, depending on the connectors (oval for VGA, rectangular for DVI) on both your monitor and your computer's video-card.

Try the local "Thrift Shop" (Salvation Army, Value Village, et cetera).
Try any local computer-store.
Try any "big-box" store (BestBuy, Walmart, Staples, OfficeDepot, FutureShop).
Try 'www.ebay.ca'.

Monitor does not turn on. HP Pavilion f1903 Switch light just continues to blink

Reseat the connection of your video card from the motherboard.

If problem still continue, try using different video card on your motherboard and see if it works. If the display is OK then you will be needing to replace your video card permanently.

Speakers don't Work on HP Pavilion f1903 desktop

Just match the color of the male and female on each end. Plug the audio cable (mini stereo phone plugs) to the PC audio line out (green miniphone jack) to the Powered speaker mini stereo phone audio line input jack (green color jack). You will have to set the volume controls of the speaker control knob and at the PC on screen volume control panel.

Hp 1703 Video for 1second then Black but can see it but wery dark

sorry, not really a solution, but may help point you in right direction. I have similar or same problem with my monitor but is an f1903 (HP). I recommend you look at the f1903 board postings to see those answers. Several seem identical for fixes and fix may possibly be cheap, but unfortunately noone has posted how to open the monitor up to actually check it inside. This is the tricky part, as seems no catches or buttons are present and removing back screws do not let the monitor case open without some type of special trick or move. If you figure it out, please tell us all! Thanks

Can not load f1903 software on microsoft xp system

This has nothing to do with your monitor. Windows has default drivers that will be installed for that.
The problem will be your video card drivers are not installed.
Get the right drivers for your card, install them and you should be away.

I would bet it is the cable or connection. Have you tried connecting the monitor to a different PC?
