Question about Canon PowerShot A85 Digital Camera

When turning on my Canon PowerShot A85, the screen is pink in colour. When takin pictures, the pink continues on all pictures and the pink runs through the pictures?

Cannon powershot A85. I turn on the camera and the screen just shows the menu or the settings. when I snap picture, it shows nothing. i cannot replay the pictures either. what could be wrong?


Hi,
It is known problem of ccd imager chip failure in Canon A85 camera and ccd imager chip will be replaced by local camera repair shop to solve this issue.
Since camera wont show live view/ blank screen so same gets saved as picture in memory card that is why no picture/ image in playback either.

Pictures come out with red tint and out of focus


This is known problem of ccd imager failure in Canon A85 camera and ccd imager will be replaced to get correct live view to take pictures.

A85 camera LCD shows up with pink and black lines every time a picture is taken. LCD screen displays the camera icons on LCD screen but will not take anymore photo's. Lens used to view picture status...

Pictures are pink and out of focus lcd has rolling lines on canon a85


When using flash then brownish pictures apears.
without flash the pictures are somehow normal.

Its is bad ccd imager known problem in Canon A85 camera.
