Question about Samsung DVD-V2000 DVD Player/VCR
First, try cleaning the lazer head with a CD/DVD laser cleaner. These only cost around £5 ($8).
If this doesn't make any difference, I'm sorry to say that the lazer output has become too weak to read the discs and the only way to fix this is to have a new laser head unit fitted.
If your player is a top-class Pioneer, this WILL be very expensive, but in any case it will cost around £50 ($80) to replace.
You may have to consider buying a new DVD player!
