I have an Hp Dv6000 and windows is not starting successfully it says a problem has been detected & win has been shut down to prevent damage to your cpu. technical info:stop: 0x0000007E (0xc0000005, 0xF72c8D4o .....as im copying the info it went dead on me w...does anyone have info i would love to have it

    i need to know if you did something inside your pc if yes please tell me what and also tell me what you were doing right before it crashed on you the first time. did you install any new updates or no. i dought that would be the prob but better to know.

It could be either a corrupted ntsldr file in which case you would need to reinstall the operating system, or it could be that its getting too hot and its shutting off because of the heat

Can not (re)install HP Solution Center in windows 7 (photosmart c6280)


check leads and connection points
once connected windows 7 should automatically detect your printer search for and install the drivers
click start control panel devices and printers if you see your printer right click on it
you might have to set it as your default printer
click start right click on computer device manager scrollto ports com & lpt
if you see a yellow question/exclamation mark ? ! or a red X a new driver will need to be installed

maybe its something wrong with the windows registry, if you are able to boot up normally run a registry repair scan with the intel software partner reginout to fix this problem.

Computer Does Not Detect Headset Microphone


Sound and Recording jacks stop working on the DV6000 series due to the ribbon cable running under the power button. when the power button is pushed it bends the flex cable and over time it breaks the connection rendering the front jacks useless you can buy a new upper button panel for about 20 dollars on ebay

I have a HP Pavillion dv6000 laptop, the start button doesn't start windows, but only QuickPlay begins and opens up. From that there's a windows icon for which I click on to start windows. But the screen...


Start windows in safe mode, if you have antivirus installes run it from safe mode, if it does into stand by in safe mode, you may have other issues but it sounds like a virus to me so far.

No boot up


Solution :
  • Run chkdsk /r or chkdsk /f to detect and resolve any file system structural damage.
  • After you use the Chkdsk tool to repair the corrupted NTFS volume, rename %SystemRoot%\System32\Drivers\Ntfs.old to Ntfs.sys, and then shut down and restart the computer.
  • Try disabling any virus scanning programs, backup programs, or disk defragmenter tools that constantly monitor your computer.
  • Run any system diagnostics that are supplied by your computer manufacturer, especially a HDD check.
