Question about Lexmark X5150 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Whenever I'm trying to print a picture, the printer will do about 1/3 of the page or 1/3 of the job (if it's multi-pages), and it stops. A window appears ont he screen saying the cartridge is stalled. It suggests to look for something blacking the cartridge and start over. This never changes anything. Help!!
I had the same problem and fixed it by physically pushing the cartridges to the left. Yes I was a little frustrated at the time and using brute force may not always be the best idea but...it worked! I felt as if it was stuck there and I released it.

I had the same problem. I fixed it by oiling the bar that the print head rides on. I used sewing machine oil but I imagine regular 2 in one oil would work fine.

When the printer is new, the manufactures often insert small pieces of foam in the railing system of the print head. The foam prevents the printer head from moving during transit. There may be a small piece of foam packaging still left inside from when it was new.
Open up the printer and look carefully inside with a torch light or move the printer to a well lit area so as to see inside where the printer head lives.
Most of the packaging is obvious, white or similar color and make now be tarnished with age.
If you are unsure about what to look for, it might be best to take the printer to a dealer or repair shop and explain the problem carefully to them.
