My bunn coffee maker is making loud noises when it heats, I know it needs cleaning but I lost the book that tells me what to put into it. I did it once and it was quiet. I can't find that book now. Thank you

The noise can occur when there is a heavy buildup of calcium on the heater coil. This causes the coil to get much hotter since the layer of calcium acts as an insulator and the water may come to a boil because the coil rises to a high temperature trying to heat the water.
Unless it is too clogged, this may help; empty the water out completely, then put two cups of regular vinegar in the water chamber and turn on the power for a half-minute or until liquid appears in the pot.
Let it sit overnight and then let the remaining vinegar pump through. You will have to run several pots of water through the machine or have some really strange-tasting coffee.
There are commercial products that act more quickly and thoroughly than vinegar but also much more caustic.

I have a Bunn coffee maker (Model NHB code date154704) that trips the ground fault breaker the second you plug it in. It worked fine yesterday, but last night my wife put half water and half vinegar in it...

The water doesn't come into direct contact with the heating element. The only way to know the cause of the problem is to use a multimeter and test the circuitry.

Water wont come out of my bunn coffee maker

The first pot of water you put in the coffee maker just fills the water tank which is then heated up , once it gets to temperature you then pour second pot of water this pushes the hot water out of the tank through the coffee grounds into the waiting pot. This way you can make coffee faster than a regular coffee maker.

Bunn coffee maker makes a noise empty just like it does after the

Hello. What your hearing is the water being heated in the tank, these machines hold a couple pots of water at brewing temp all the time, unless you unplug it from the wall, or turn off the heater switch if you have one. So, as the day goes on, it will intermittently have to heat the water in order to keep it at the proper temp. I would not worry about it too much, unless water is spitting out when it does this.

Hope that helped, and thank you.

Yes, you can get a washer from your local Bunn repair shop. For a list of repair facilities in your area, go to www.bunn.com And yes, the heat is a problem, so you can't use just any washer.

Bunn coffee maker reservoir makes a gurgling noise

THis sound is usually caused by the water being low in the tank. This can be because the machine is left on for long periods without being used. If this is not the case, then it would probably be your heating element getting small holes in it.

Lost manual need cleaning instructions

You can download the operating manual for your machine in pdf format right to your computer from www.bunn.com By the way, I wouldn't personally put vinigar in any Bunn machine, as it takes forever to run enough water through them to get rid of the vinigar taste.
